2026 has been a busy year so far. Coming up for air long enough to journal has been quite cumbersome, but we have finally put it into one entry, so here we go...
January

- 2026 Year Prep: The year began in full force as a small team spent time productively preparing for the upcoming yearly calendar. Projects such as upcoming biblical conferences and trainings, short term mission teams from the states, and Water Well Construction projects.
- Help for the Hurting: We had an opportunity to minister to a family of a little girl who has been lame since birth. Through the generosity of donors, she was provided a wheelchair. We also met a young man who has been dealing with an ailment that has grown over half of his face. We are continuing to work with medical personnel from the states to help this young man.
- Kid's Camp: Helped Pastor Dan's church with a Kid’s Camp in one of the local villages.
- Baptisms: Jim and Pastor Dan, who pastors the Church Iglesia Evangélica Bautista, and is part of the 414 Missions leadership team, had the privilege of baptizing several members of his church. God is good indeed!

February

- BTCP Training: What is the BTCP training? BTCP stands for Biblical Training Center for Pastors. This is a ten course biblical training that is used worldwide and comes highly recommended from several credible Pastors here in the states.
Throughout the month we continued to meet with the Cushillococha pastors who are students of the BTCP Training. - Trade Skills Training: A team from the states came and conducted workshops for the local people that trained in mechanical repair, wood working, welding, and how to lead Worship. This was an opportunity for those who attended to develop trade skills that can sharpen their knowledge and abilities, and bring income to their families.
- Team Prep: During the month we also prepared to facilitate the short term teams coming on mission at the end of February through the end of March.
March

- Pastors Conference: At the beginning of the month, Dr. Mack Roller, Pastor Mike Dixon, and Pastor Jason Lasher joined 414 Missions to facilitate our annual Pastors Conference with over 100 pastors and church leaders from surrounding villages, some who traveled up to hundreds of miles away to attend the conference. It was an amazing and fruitful time where we addressed difficult subjects with clarity and boldness. God worked through the leadership team in an amazing way, and the students continue to hunger for more knowledge. So much fruit is still coming from this Conference.

- Spring Break Medical Trip: This was a full mission trip consisting of nurses, a doctor, paramedics, a nurse practitioner, and a group of medical students from Sam Houston University in Huntsville, TX, with hearts to serve the impoverished people of the Amazon jungle. This team was incredibly talented and had enormous hearts for Jesus and His people! As the team was physically treating the multitude of needs, they would pray with the patients. At the same time, we had an evangelism team who were able to share the gospel with 100’s of individuals waiting to be seen! Praise the Lord as many were receptive to the working of the Holy Spirit.

- Future BTCP trainings in Cajamarca, Peru: After the Medical Team left, we took a small team to the mountainous region of Cajamarca, Peru. Our purpose was to coordinate future BTCP trainings for the local pastors in the area. This was a successful trip and we will be kicking off the first training in the summer of 2026.
April / May

- Discipleship and BTCP Trainings: During the month of April our main focus was continued BTCP training with the Cushillococha pastors and preparation for May’s BTCP training. From the initial mobilization of 414 Missions in 2022, we have been praying for God to send more qualified pastors ad ministry leaders to partner with our mission. As we have experienced from the very start, God has blessed the ministry with answered prayers and we are once again celebrating His providential hand at work. In May, while in Leticia, Colombia, I was introduced to to two pastors, Pastor Anderson and Pastor Jonathan (who is fluent in English and Spanish). Upon talking with them I was amazed to discover that both of these pastors have already completed the BTCP Program and are qualified Trainers! God not only orchestrated a partnership but brought us together in the middle of the jungle with the exact same mission, an additional translator, and a desire and availability to be sent out to Unreached Villages! WOW!

- In May we had our next BTCP Conference, teaching Method and Study Skills for the pastors. Pastor Jonathan, Pastor Anderson, Pastor Dan, and myself took turns teaching parts of this conference. It was wonderful to share the load with others who know the material. This was a fruitful conference as 18 pastors committed to the missionary call to evangelize unreached villages, AND we will be launching two families out into two villages as indigenous missionaries at the beginning of the year! Pastor Anderson and his family, and Pastor Nick will be serving in the village of Primavera and the village of Marichi.
Coming up... Please pray for the following
- Three BTCP Conferences
- Eware community, Brazil (June/July)
- Cushillococha, Peru (August)
- Cajamarca, Peru (August)
- Well drilling team (August)
- Evangelism trips to Unreached Villages (June - August)
- And additional BTCP trainings (June - January 2027)
Current Needs
- General Monthly Ministry Support: Currently we are experiencing such rapid growth which has exceeded our ability to sustain ministry demands. We are excited, as this is a good problem to have. God has grown the mission and He will provide. He does this partly through faithful supporters like you. If you wish to partner with us in making disciples who make disciples of Jesus, please consider a monthly donation by clicking the DONATE NOW Button below. The following are the various needs
- We must increase our general monthly support by a minimum of $4K/mo to sustain ministry growth.
- One time gift: This can be for general fund, or for any specific project.
- BTCP Training books and materials: $1,500/ training x 10 trainings = $15K
- Bibles: $8/bible x 1,000/year = $8K
- Mission Team Guest Quarters: With the yearly increase of Biblical trainings, multiple teams coming from the states, and partnerships with other ministries, we have a tremendous need to expand our sleeping arrangements for those that are visiting. Currently the cost of hotels, restaurants, and transportation continues to be cumbersome. We would also like to keep our short term mission trips cost affordable, as we are currently overextending our resources with each team. We would greatly appreciate your consideration in helping us accomplish this need before the beginning of the year 2027 by offering your building skills, resources, and monetary donations by clicking the button below. We estimate the cost to be just around $25K. This includes the building supplies, electrical, water, and septic. Our current septic was only designed for 6 - 8 people and we project to house approximately 40 people at one time.
- Indigenous 414 Missionary Support: Monthly support for the two families launching out as 414 missionaries to the unreached villages. This covers their transportation, housing, Starlink (internet), food, biblical curriculum, material, & resources. = $5K/yr/family (incl lodging, food & transportation for pastors and their families).
We are so grateful for your prayer and support which keeps this ministry going. God is quickly and powerfully moving in the Amazonas Region of Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. We give all the glory to God! And we are most grateful for supporters like you. Thank you!
